The Priorat region is found on red and black slate soils and numerous minerals of volcanic origin. Surrounded by mountains such as the Sierra de Montsant, Llavería, Santa Marina ... but at a distance from the sea that does not exceed 50 km which makes it a unique area with a climate that greatly favors its varieties.
