Barahonda is a winery located in the denomination of origin Yecla. The company has behind its back four generations of passionate about the region's wine. Its vineyards formed by more than 150 hectares are located at an altitude between 400 and 800 meters above sea level on deep soils of limestone.
The winery stands out for being a very minimalist edition in relation to other farmhouses of nearby estates, in addition to its modern facilities that has the latest technology linked to oenological production where it is elaborated in the whole Barahonda wines.
The main variety they cultivate is Monastrell although they also have strains of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Tempranillo and Petit Verdot. La Monastrell is native to the area and gives rise to fleshy, noble and very aromatic wines.
