Clos Figueras is a winery of Priorat that was born from a project carried out in 1997 by Christopher and his family after the purchase of 10 hectares of vineyard in a magnificent land of the region north of Tarragona. The name refers to its origin ("Clos" Terrain and "Figueras" in honor of 2 fig trees of the plot).
Llicorella, one of the main estates of the winery, is located in the well-known area of Gratallops, where the Cariñena, Garnacha, Cabernet Sauvignon, Mourvedre, Viognier and Syrah varieties are grown on terraces with incredible views of the Ebro and the Mountains of Bajo Aragón. This farm also has a large forest of olive trees used for the production of olive oil in the cellar.
The wines of Clos Figueras are characterized by their great elegance, complexity and harmony. In addition it is a range of very balanced wines with a very limited production for their current demand.
