Legaris is a Ribera del Duero winery belonging to the Codorníu Group since 1999. Its philosophy is based on the utmost care of the environment that goes in full aromas with the production of the range of wines that are made seeking the excellence of each vine.
The vineyards are an extension of some 100 hectares divided into several payments and plots between Curiel de Duero and San Martin de los Rubiales, both municipalities located in the province of Valladolid. In the vineyards, the Tinto Fino and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties are cultivated under sustainable quality viticulture standards based on respect for the land and the grape.
The wines of Legaris are made in the winery, where they make an excellent selection of the grape, and it is incorporated into the production process based on the minimum intervention on the grape in order to obtain a wine with high expression of its origins, the terroir where He has cultivated the vine so minutely. This process is made up of an alcoholic fermentation in individual tanks for each variety, then the manolactic fermentation and the coupage are carried out.
Finally, the wine is aged in French and American oak barrels for a period of time decided by the winemaker, and finally bottled to continue aging.
