Otazu is a Navarra winery founded in 1840 in the Pago de Ortazu. A historic winery characterized by its Chateaux French style, which in its beginnings had more than 40 hectares of vineyards around the building.
In the 90s, the facilities were renovated and the new winery "La Catedral del Vino" was created. From then on, all available resources start to be invested in the production of a great high quality wine.
At present, the winery has a payment that has an extension of more than 110 hectares dedicated to the cultivation of the vine. Among the varieties that are grown are Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Merlot. The team of winegrowers of the winery are responsible for studying their characteristics in order to obtain the best raw material for the production of wine later in the winery.
