Quinta Sardonia is a small winery located in Sardón del Duero, whose project was born in 1998 by Peter Sisseck, founder of Dominio de Pingus. This winery belongs to the Terras Gauda group and, although it is located a few meters away from the Douro River, it is outside the denomination of origin because it is on the border of the political borders set by the Regulatory Council.
The winery has its own vineyards in plots that occupy a total area of approximately 20 hectares where Tempranillo or Tinto fino varieties are grown, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Petit Verdot ... through techniques of organic viticulture and biodynamic rhythms for greater sustainability of the vineyard.
The wines of Quinta Sardonia have a great personality. His oenologist Jérôme Bougnaud elaborates the wines with innovative little known techniques that give character and personality to the wine. They are elegant and powerful wines, very tasty and intense aromas.
