Terras Gauda is a winery of Rías Baixas founded in the 90s in the region of O Rosal (Pontevedra). Since then, they have not stopped producing authentic wines of native varieties of Galicia such as Albariño, Caíño and Loureiro in order to preserve the traditional wine of the Galician area.
The winery has more than 160 hectares of vineyards where wine growers work to ensure a high quality fruit related to the wine that is later produced in the cellar where they perfectly combine traditional Galician wine making methods with the latest wine technology In addition, the winery has a large team dedicated to R + D + I in order to investigate and develop more deeply aspects about the varieties of their land and the wines they produce.
In the line of research have come to create several patents result of effort, such as the creation of an ecotypic yeast capable of reinforcing the aromas and flavors of the wines during the fermentation process (2008), also a mannoprotein that allows the creation of unique wines with special and distinctive characteristics.
In recent years, the Terras Gauda Group has also been focused on developing a powerful business growth and diversification strategy by undertaking multiple businesses in different places of the Spanish geography such as El Bierzo or Castilla y León, for example.
