Chardonnay is a white grape variety of French origin, exactly from the Burgundy region, fruit of the crossing of the Pinoccio and Gouais Blanc varieties.
Its cluster is small and its grape also, presenting a yellowish green color. Its skin is thick, its juice is scarce but its pulp is very juicy. It adapts very well to all terrains and climates, although it prefers cold ones, since drought can cause low yields.
Its wines have a very bright golden yellow color. The nose has powerful fruit aromas. The palate has a high acidity, has a lot of body, structured wines with very defined notes of fruits and flowers.
