It is a red wine made from the Mencía variety (100%) by Bodegas Peique, under the El Bierzo designation of origin. From the oldest vineyards of the winery, the variety is extracted, which after obtaining the already fermented wine is subjected to aging for 12 months in French, Russian and American oak barrels and another 12 in bottle at least.

Peique Viñedos Viejos Cherry red color very covered. The nose has fruity aromas of red and black fruits, spicy notes on a balsamic and earthy background. In the mouth it is tasty, velvety and persistent.
