It is a red wine made from the Mencía variety (100%) by Bodegas Cuatro Pasos belonging to Martin Codax, under the designation of origin El Bierzo. Their vineyards are old, with more than 80 years in most cases, in slate soils with an exceptional climate. The wine receives 2 months of aging in French and American oak barrels.

Cuatro Pasos  Cherry red with violet nuances. The nose is intense with notes of red fruit and toasted. The palate is balanced, varietal, fruity and with a good aftertaste.
