On the western foothills of Sonoma County in California sits the Marimar Estate Winery, belonging to the Torres Group since its founding. The name of the winery refers to its founder Marimar Torres, daughter of Miguel Torres.
His wines come from two different vineyards: Don Miguel Vineyard, in honor of his father, located in the Russian River / Green Valley; and Doña Margarita Vineyard, in honor of her mother, located in the Sonoma Coast designation of origin.
Don Miguel's vineyard is located in a region where there is a cold microclimate, which allows the production of very high quality white wines of different varieties such as Chardonnay and reds such as Pinot Noir.
The Doña Margarita vineyard presents a microclimate much colder than the previous one but with very sunny days. Here the Pinot Noir variety is grown especially.
The wines of Marimar Estate are elegant wines with great aromas that are very fresh, usually on the palate.
