In 1979 the Torres family founded Miguel Torres Chile in order to start a new wine project in Chile. Since then, vineyards have been cultivated in the Curicó Valley, next to the Andes mountain range surrounded by an exceptional climate that gives rise to wines with great potential.
In addition to the land and the climate for the production of good wines, Miguel Torres introduced the latest technologies for the production of wine such as stainless steel tanks, French oak, bottling ... That did not exist in the area at that time.
The winery is located in Maquehua, Curicó. There are the central offices, the main facilities where the wine is made as the bottling plant, laboratories, winery ... Its main mission as a winery is respect for the environment, social responsibility and innovative capacity.
It presents wines of excellent quality as evidenced by its tasting notes. In addition, its wines are very prestigious around the world and the winery is a leader in the Chilean industry.
