Viña Ijalba is a Rioja winery founded in 1991. The first vine was planted by its founder Dionisio Ruiz Ijalba in 1975. Since then, Viña Ijalba has established itself as one of the pioneering wineries in the cultivation and production of organic wines.

The most important values of Viña Ijalba wines are sustainability and modernity while preserving the tradition of the area. In this way, these organic wines are made without damaging the environment and preserving all the qualities of traditional Rioja wines, while continuing to innovate and research to produce better wines.

Viña Ijalba wines stand out for preserving the philosophy and history of Rioja. It is an organic wine production with a wide range of interest. Thus, in Viña Ijalba they have always tried to recover certain indigenous varieties of the area such as Maturana or White Tempranillo.

This winery knows perfectly that the quality of a wine depends on its land and its variety. Therefore, they have always been very committed to the ecological and sustainable, in addition to research for the recovery of minority indigenous varieties.

Currently, Viña Ijalba wines are subdivided into three types: young, aged and varietal. All of them of good quality but with different origins, production and nuances. It is a range of organic wines that well represent the essence of Rioja and surprise the consumer.
