Bodegas Gormaz is a small winery in Ribera del Duero founded in 1972, being ten years later one of the 12 founder wineries of the denomination of origin in 1982, hence its experience in the production of excellent quality wines.

The vineyards that this winery owns consist of 520 hectares divided into 1000 plots of very small size for a better control of the vine. The soil is sandy with gravels and limestones that give rise to a soil very poor in nutrients for the plant and consequently a low yield with an exquisite quality of the fruit. In addition, the plots have vineyards over 80 years old that produce the best grapes in the region.

The harvest is done manually in small boxes that are transported to the winery in a very short period of time so that the grapes arrive fresh at reception, where they undergo a second selection process to guarantee the best selection.

The wines produced by Bodegas Gormaz are unique due to the characteristics of their vines and the careful production process in the winery, giving rise to a wine that reflects the essence of the land in the fields where the varieties are grown.
