Cruz de Alba is a red wine made from Tempranillo (100%). This variety is grown in a sustainable and biodynamic way in terroirs of the Ribera del Duero. From its birth, the winegrowers and the oenologist know that each vine needs its own conditions to live. Therefore, they pamper each one to give them exactly what they need at the exact moment. The biodynamic calendar is fundamental and coordination according to the stellar cycles is vital. The result is a healthy strain that produces a high quality fruit.
In the winery, Cruz de Alba receives an alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature. It is then aged in French oak barrels for at least 15 months. Finally, it is bottled and left to rest in bottle racks for a few months until the wine is completely round.
In the tasting, Cruz de Alba has a red color with very intense purple hues. On the nose there are aromas of red fruit such as currant and spicy notes such as thyme, cloves, vanilla typical of aging. The taste phase stands out for being very balanced, ripe tannin, tasty and velvety wine sensation.
