VINEYARD
Vivanco Crianza is a wine made from Tempranillo (95%), Graciano (3%) and Maturana Tinta (2%) in Rioja. All these strains are a selection of vineyards with an average age of 18 years on clay soils of Briones (Rioja).
WINERY PREPARATION
After destemming, the grapes are lightly crushed to extract all their must. This is encased in French oak wood vats where it ferments and macerates in full contact with the grape skins. Likewise, for 20 days it receives gentle pump-overs. Subsequently, it undergoes malolactic fermentation and the wine is aged in French and American oak barrels for 16 months. Finally, it is bottled and left to rest in the bottle rack for a minimum of 6 months before going on the market.
THE BOTTLE
The bottle has a very special design inspired by an old 18th century bottle made by hand. The label is a tribute to the painter Salvador Dalí.
TASTE NOTES
At first glance, a bright cherry red with a medium layer can be seen. On the nose aromas of ripe red fruit are obtained in perfect combination with notes of spices, liquorice, smoked and toasted nuances. Likewise, on the palate it is very elegant, fresh, balanced and persistent.
