Buying wine from Bodegas Cune means acquiring a quality wine that for decades is elaborated in the Rioja denomination of origin betting on innovation and the maximum care of its lands in its three wineries: Viña Real, Cune and Viñedos del Contino.
Everything starts from the year 1879 when the company was founded in Haro by brothers Raimundo and Eusebio Real de Asúa. In 1915 Monopole is born, one of the first white wines elaborated in Spain. In the 1920's the well-known Viña Real, with a lot of personality and character; In turn, the Imperial is born, another of the great and recognized wines in Spain.
In 1973, they created the winery Viñedos del Contino in a privileged setting next to the Cerro de la Mesa in La Rioja, a winery in the form of a "chateau" that perfectly combines tradition, history and innovation.
The winery of Viña Real is also located in the Rioja Alavesa where fruity wines are produced in a very unique building that mixes nobility and modernity, like its wines. In this winery the Tempranillo, Viura, Mazuelo, Graciano and Garnacha Tinta varieties are grown to produce their wines from Viña Real and an excellent Tempranillo called Pagos de la Viña.
