Cavas Bach is a range of sparkling wines with a long history in the denomination. Its history goes back to the beginning of the 20th century, when in 1915 the Bach and Escopet brothers acquired the farm "Can Estrada" and started a small winery.
In the decade of the 20s, the winery already had a certain reputation for the area of Penedès (Catalunya - Spain), the winery began to grow and each vintage was better than the previous one. In fact, his wines were present at the Universal Exhibition of Barcelona in 1929. However, the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939) affected the family bodeguera. For this reason, in 1942 the family decided to sell the winery, having several owners for decades, who expanded the cellar and underground cellars until finally in 1975, the winery was acquired by the Raventós family, joining the Codorníu winery group.
At present, Bach is a winery that produces wines from red and white varieties. The Cavas Bach production stands out from Macabeo, Xarel·lo and Parellada. Sparkling wines with good value for money, which continue to transmit the essence of the Bach i Escopet brothers.
