Cantalobos Mencía Barrica is a crianza wine made in El Bierzo. The variety is harvested manually on slopes at 500 meters above sea level. In the winery the selection is very strict and later it is left to macerate cold. Then it ferments in stainless steel tanks. And finally, the Cantalobos Mencía Barrica wine is aged in French oak barrels for 24 months.
The result is a wine with a smooth and round aging. For this reason, Cantalobos Mencía Barrica has a very dark garnet red color with purple notes. On the nose, it stands out for its berries along with notes of chocolate, vanilla and liquorice from aging. Likewise, on the palate it is very elegant, aftertaste, round, long and smooth.
